PhD dissertations in History, 2010-2018: a historiographical survey

This contribution serves as an introduction and framework for the specific analyzes
included in this dossier on the doctoral theses concluded in Portugal, from 2010 to
2018, in the various historiographic subdomains. In addition to explaining the
methodological approach and the criteria used in this historiographic survey, it also
seeks to elucidate the institutional conditions that made possible the dynamism of
doctoral training in History in the last 10 years. Despite this positive evolution,
attention is drawn to a declining trend in the number of theses carried out in the final
2 years of the period under analysis.

As suas cartas constituem, por isso, um rico material para a compreensão do universo literário do autor . A escrita privada com os seus familiares permite-nos não somente desvendar relações íntimas, relações amorosas e conflituosas, mas também penetrar no quotidiano e, assim, conhecer uma outra dimensão sua própria vida. Neste capítulo evidencia-se o percurso de encantamento e deceção na relação de um casal que desafiou as convenções socais burguesas.
Theses and dissertations from ULisboa to the world : a case study on the international visibility of academic publications in the institutional repositories of the University of Lisbon

Focused on the collection of theses and dissertations, the aim of the following study is to look to the scientific production of ULisboa and analyse the international visibility of it through the statistical report of these two institutional repositories for the last 10 years (2010 - 2019). For this purpose, the total number of thesis and disserta tions of the ULisboa, archived in both repositories, were collected, for the period 2010 - 2019 (10 years of implementation of the institutional repositories). Usage statistics (views and downloads) were obtained as well as the home countries of these access es. A descriptive analysis was performed. Results showed that the number of thesis and dissertation archived in the repositories has been growing, as well as their use (views and downloads) is very significant in both repositories.
