- O Amanhã é como se fosse ontem e todos os dias são iguais - O absurdo: o humor, o acaso e o nadaPublication . Silva, Regina Mariana Martins; Queirós, Francisco Albino Leitão Serra De PinaThis dissertation consists of an investigation into the concept of the Absurd, with its focal point on informing about the themes, ideas, concepts, and methodologies that form my artistic practice and way of thinking. Consequently, it is structured in two parts: firstly, a theoretical investigation of the Absurd, contextualizing and deconstructing it through the analysis of its languages and formats. Secondly, my practical work is addressed - my artistic production, which draws upon, materializes, and shapes the information established in the theoretical component. I emphasize that these two components inform one another without overshadowing each other, engaging in a dialogue that creates an argument born from their convergence. In both instances, the Absurd is understood as a vital element of artistic production, anchoring it in a creation that reflects the human experience. This analysis positions the theme in question as an act of consequence or response rather than as an attempt to evade an absurd condition. Fundamentally, through this document and my artistic project, it is presented a possible perspective on how we might coexist with this condition without losing ourselves in the vastness of the universe
- A New Soil Cartography at 1:100,000 scale for mainland PortugalPublication . Batista, Gonçalo; Conceição, Mariana; Garcia, Ricardo A. C.; Oliveira, S.C.; Trindade, André; Viana, Cláudia; Rocha, JorgePortugal does not have detailed and complete soil maps at a scale that is useful for environmental management. The General Soil Map of Portugal (1:1,100,000) is still the only national tool for soil information. Create a new soil map for mainland Portugal at a 1:100,000 scale.

- Hazard and Exposure Assessment to Sea Level Rise in Mainland PortugalPublication . Silva, Andreia Alves da; Trindade, J.; Rocha, JorgeCoastal sustainable land use hinges on sea level rise (SLR) as a critical driver of climate risk mitigation, shaping adaptative coastal zone management, and fostering transitions towards resilient communities. The mainland Portuguese coastline, exposed to the energetic North Atlantic wave regime, faces frequent erosion and coastal flooding. By 2100, the consequences of these hazards are expected to intensify as urban sprawl grows and coastal communities become physically more exposed and socially more vulnerable.
