This study focuses on the association of eight predefined emotions in different visual scenarios. Through a detailed methodology, users were asked to: • Associate a color with each of the eight pre-defined emotions to verify a model under study; • Associate specific emotions with scenarios where colors and animations represent the same emotion; • Associate specific emotions with scenarios where colors and animations represent opposite emotions; • Associate specific emotions with scenarios where the color represents an emotion while an avatar is at idle. In this study, a sample of 39 users was used. With this sample we can draw valuable conclusions, however, a larger sample would provide better results for a more comprehensive understanding of user responses. The results suggest the need to carefully consider visual stimuli when designing interfaces that aim to evoke specific emotional responses in users. This work was made in the context of the GhostDance project, funded by FCT (EXPL/ARTPER/1238/2021).porCena VirtualCorAvatar animadoEmoçõesPlutchikTeses de mestrado - 2024Influência emocional da cor e do movimento de um avatar em cenas virtuaismaster thesis203741323
