It’s peripheral location and the usual Classical concept of finis terrae gives a false idea of peripheral condition to Lusitania, not so peripheral at all after the Britannia conquest under Claudius. Using some examples, we intend to show how the province was actually created, with Avgvsta Emerita being the general model for town planning and public buildings and also how the local resources were used on the process and allow understanding the design of internal communication network.spabook part
