The theoretical component aims to review the history and key ideas present in this topic. The main objective of this work is to understand the representation of movement using abstracting or figurative processes that demonstrate the mechanisms present in the precession of movement in the real world. Combining the history of elements that contributed to the evolution of motion representation, with a more philosophical assessment of temporality and also the analysis of the key features and methods needed for a good illusion of motion, all resulted in my growing interest in this project. Using techniques that evoke the passage of time, sequences and gestures, I try to find a graphic and plastic language that highlights the physical and psychological experience of movement. The gathering of information on this topic resulted in a better understanding of movement, providing me with tools to explore, express and clarify concerns I found in my drawings. The work produced allowed me to explore areas of drawing that I had not worked so much on, allowing me to broaden the scope of my graphic vocabulary, previously more connected to illustration.porDesenhoMovimentoTemporalidadeGestualidadeMovimento - Na História de ArteMovimento e gesto no desenho : tempo em açãomaster thesis203002288
