Firstly, in collaboration with the group responsible for selecting B-physics events at the Trigger system, I studied the possibility of triggering the channel B → J/ψ→e+e-. The variables used to select these events were investigated and a selection algorithm implemented to achieve the best efficiency whilst maintaining tolerable background rates. Secondly, a method for browsing monitoring histograms databases was developed. This application called NODE can be access histograms through a graphical user interface. It was developed within the framework of the TDAQ Monitoring Working Group.application/pdfengFísica nuclearPartículasDevelopments for ATLAS online data processimg: quality access tools and B-Physics trigger algorithms for J/ψ→e+e-master thesis
