The integrity and authenticity of these buildings are increasingly being protected. This thesis aims to understand how cultural heritage can be integrated into the community’s daily life, knowing that it will have to provide answers to the problems of today’s society. One of the problems that currently stands out in society is associate to the environmental crisis we are going through, and taking this into consideration one of the main objectives of this thesis is to establish strategies to reduce the environmental and energy impact of those buildings. The main objective will be the idealization of an Interpretation Center, open to the public, where the historical importance of the Quinta de Vale de Flores will be demonstrated, as well as its importance as a productive farm.É notório o destaque que atualmente se dá a intervenções de reabilitação, principalmente quando falamos de património cultural. Cada vez mais procura-se proteger a integridade e autenticidade deste edificado. Este trabalho pretende perceber como se pode integrar o património cultural no quotidiano da comunidade, sabendo que este terá de dar respostas às problemáticas da sociedade atual.
