Os contratempos da publicação do panfleto e as posições políticas nele expressas são examinadas à luz da situação política do momento, nomeadamente o debate no seio da liderança da Ditadura Militar sobre o eventual regresso à normalidade constitucional ou, em alternativa, a criação de um regime autoritário.This article aims at shedding some light on the political context of the publication of Fernando Pessoa’s O Interregno. Defesa e Justificação da Ditadura Militar em Portugal (1928), providing new elements for its interpretation.
