Trata-se de uma fonte para pesquisas históricas, antropológicas, arqueológicas e linguísticas, útil para as gerações mais novas dos povos originários e as pessoas interessadas pelos conhecimentos arquitetônicos e os modos de vida ancestrais dos Guaraní.This article gathers 553 words and phrases from the Guaraní language about dwelling and the longhouses, registered by Antonio Ruiz de Montoya in the early 17th century. The production and use of these longhouses are practices of sociability transmitted through the generations and that express material actions of collaboration, consideration, and the connection between humans and the environment.
