Architecture can be assumed as a meeting point between the characteristics of the place, and more generic solutions. It seeks balance with the appropriate language, that contribute to keep up with the significant increase of proximity between sites and regions, emerging in an inevitable sense of globalization, which became more evident in recent decades, and that apparently tends to unify the management strategies of the urban areas. In this context it is intended to show how the urban landscape - expressed in the works and intentions of decision makers, entrepreneurs, artists and citizens – is nowadays closely related to a project attitude interested in the creation of the city’s identity.
