This, which lasted three months, was developed within the Master in Design for Sustainability. The report's first part presents a brief theoretical foundation about sustainability, sustainable development, upcycling, and social design impact. In the report’s second part, in order to provide answers to the problems raised, a proposal for a service design project development was made within Cascais municipality. The research methodology used for this report development was exploratory research to raise awareness of the increased production and consumption issue translated into environmental damage. For technical and design development, Bruno Munari's design methodology was applied, which guided the “Upcycle Cascais” Project development. Finally, the conclusions reflect the internship’s impact and the difficulties felt. As a complement, some perspectives for Upcycle Cascais project future were made, which aims to mobilize young people in Cascais Municipality and raise awareness of responsible consumption, through design and circular economy through designporCascais.
