J. Lynch. He is an Irish artist and illustrator of children's books. I developed my research in order to study his story, the materials and instruments he used and use in his stories, the evolution of his art and the ethical sense that his illustrations have. The main objective of his illustrations is to leave a message, leading people to reflect on some life values. From here I started a drawing project - to illustrate, as P. J. Lynch did, a short-story by Oscar Wilde that demonstrates what I took away from the research about his work that I did previously. The short story I choose is called “The Crime of Lord Arthur Savile”, a satire on 19th century London society. A parody of those who follow fashion, no matter how eccentric it may be. A criticism of the intelligence of human beings, the influence and the impact that others have on their common sense. A distorted vision made up of blind obedience to a destiny that cannot be challenged, and which the main character pursues, without morals.
