Throughout the academic course carried out, in the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon and in the Master’s at the Edinburgh College of Art at The University of Edinburgh in Scotland, was common the existence of practical classes. How can anyone investigate without building / doing? The discipline of Methods and Research Methodology taught by Doctors Ana Paula Caetano and Ana Luisa Paz, presented the possibility of freedom to choose our interests, as so, the opportunity to develop a practical research through the machining, manipulation, play of books. Throughout this path, the restlessness of knowing, writing and verbalising the research of the question, gave as a response a mutant and open question in constant transformation. An organic and flexible wondering nourished by wills and passions, based on an unknown conviction to discover in the formulation of a research question. It happens to hear and intuit the enjoyment of a natural and holistic understanding for an emotion-based journey. This narrative, aims to present three collaborative experiences with different heterogeneous, multicultural and generational groups, which took place in the form of workshops in Seminars, Events, at the University Meetings of Artistic Education between 2017 and 2018, namely: HOOK BOOK, LAP MAP and CLICK CLACK, where the participants were invited to be discoverers and researchers, questioning how can the process of making, creation and play of books contribute to a research cartography. The Observe is observed.porArteJogolivros-jogolivro-objetoExperiência participativaEducação artísticaA experiência do lugar do livro jogo em contexto de educação artísticajournal article2183-6981
