O estudo justifica-se, por um lado, pela importância do ensino do Português no currículo senegalês, tendo início, como disciplina opcional, no colégio, na turma de 4ème (equivalente ao 9.o ano do Ensino Básico do sistema português), e estendendo-se até ao final do ensino secundário. Justifica-se igualmente pelo peso atribuído à produção escrita nas examinações oficiais de PLE no Senegal, realizadas no final da escolaridade obrigatória, condicionando, entre outros aspetos, o acesso a cursos superiores na área do Português. A escrita em PLE no Senegal não foi, até à data, objeto de estudo. Dados empíricos (experiência pessoal do candidato, no terreno) levam a crer que existe uma escassez de orientações ao nível dos documentos oficiais e dos materiais didáticos em uso nas escolas. Muitos professores de PLE, ademais, parecem atribuir pouca importância ao desenvolvimento de competências escritas nas suas aulas. O presente estudo visa descrever detalhadamente e problematizar esta situação, assim preparando o caminho para um ensino da escrita mais sistemático e mais fundamentado na disciplina de PLE no Senegal. O estudo assenta numa análise de conteúdos de três tipos de documentos: programas, materiais didáticos e provas de avaliação sumativa. Pretende-se identificar as orientações que são facultadas nestes documentos para o ensino e a avaliação da produção escrita, levando em consideração aspetos como o tema, a dimensão, a estrutura ou o tipo de texto a produzir. A fim de melhor contextualizar as orientações na área do PLE, será ainda feita uma comparação com as orientações para a escrita existentes em programas, materiais e provas de duas outras línguas estrangeiras ensinadas no Senegal, nomeadamente o Inglês e o Espanhol.La présente investigation de Master, sous le thème "LA PRODUCTION ECRITE DANS L'ENSEIGNEMENT-APPRENTISSAGE DU PORTUGAIS COMME LANGUE ÉTRANGÈRE (PLE) AU SÉNÉGAL", vise à contribuer à la caractérisation de l'enseignement et de l'évaluation de la production écrite en PLE, au Sénégal. L'étude se justifie, d'une part, par l'importance de l'enseignement du portugais dans le cursus sénégalais, en commençant, comme matière optionnelle, au collège, en classe de 4ème (équivalent à la 9ème année de l'Education de Base dans le système portugais), et s'étendant jusqu'à la fin de l'enseignement secondaire. Elle se justifie également par le poids attribué à la production écrite dans les examens officiels de PLE au Sénégal, réalisés à l'issue de la scolarité obligatoire, conditionnant, entre autres aspects, l’accès à l'enseignement supérieur dans le domaine du Portugais. La production écrite en PLE au Sénégal n'a pas, à ce jour, fait l'objet d'études. Les données empiriques (expérience personnelle du candidat, sur le terrain) suggèrent qu'il y a un manque de lignes directrices en termes de documents officiels et de matériels pédagogiques utilisés dans les écoles. De plus, de nombreux enseignants de PLE semblent attacher peu d'importance au développement des compétences écrites dans leurs classes. La présente étude vise à décrire en détail et à problématiser cette situation, ouvrant ainsi la voie à un enseignement plus systématique de la production écrite basé sur la discipline de PLE au Sénégal. L'étude s'appuie sur l'analyse des contenus de trois types de documents: les programmes, les supports pédagogiques et les épreuves d'évaluation sommative. Il vise à identifier les lignes directrices qui sont fournies dans ces documents pour l'enseignement et l'évaluation de la production écrite, en tenant compte d'aspects tels que le thème, la dimension, la structure ou le type de texte à produire. Afin de mieux contextualiser les consignes en matière de PLE, une comparaison sera faite avec les consignes de rédaction existantes dans les programmes, supports et épreuves dans deux autres langues étrangères enseignées au Sénégal, à savoir l'Anglais et l'Espagnol.This Master's research, under the theme "WRITING PRODUCTION IN TEACHING-LEARNING PORTUGUESE AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE (PLE) IN SENEGAL", aims to contribute to the characterization of teaching and the evaluation of written production in PLE, in public education in Senegal. The study is justified, on the one hand, by the importance of teaching Portuguese in the Senegalese curriculum, starting, as an optional subject, at school, in the class of 4ème (equivalent to the 9th year of Basic Education in the Portuguese system), and extending to the end of secondary education. It is also justified by the weight attributed to the written production in the official PLE examinations in Senegal, carried out at the end of compulsory education, conditioning, among other aspects, access to higher education courses in the Portuguese area. PLE writing in Senegal has not, to date, been the subject of study. Empirical data (personal experience of the candidate, on the ground) suggests that there is a shortage of guidelines in terms of official documents and teaching materials in use in schools. Many PLE teachers, moreover, seem to attach little importance to the development of written skills in their classes. The present study aims to describe in detail and problematize this situation, thus paving the way for a more systematic teaching of writing based on the discipline of PLE in Senegal. The study is based on an analysis of the contents of three types of documents: programs, teaching materials and summative assessment tests. It is intended to identify the guidelines that are provided in these documents for the teaching and assessment of written production, taking into account aspects such as the theme, dimension, structure or type of text to be produced.
