The investigation was elaborated as a response to the scenario regarding initiatives for the disposal of recyclable waste available to the population of the city of Belém do Pará, in Brazil. The object of study is a local GRS initiative, the Recicle Mais Program (PRM), which has been active in the region since 2016. The study brought together a theoretical perspective and participatory research, addressing service and communication design themes, sustainable development and the circular economy. The project gathered knowledge about the services based on participatory methodologies where it was possible to gather and cross-reference data on the logistical, administrative and communication challenges inherent to the services, to draw up a set of guidelines, segmented by public: voluntary deliveries in ecopoints and collection at the door (residential and business), aiming to enhance the reach and quality of the services proposed by the initiative. An extremely relevant point of the study is the recognition that carrying out a strategic process of design investigation, when it involves activities aimed at reflecting on services, together with generative processes of ideation, are essential for quality and strategic adequacy of solutions that we propose as designers. Another relevant point was the development of auditable guidelines for improving the processes of the PRM services, combined with the relational design through a blueprint of the services, which enabled the strong construction of the relationship between the proposed improvements and their impact on the user's journey. No less important was the proposal of planning cycles for communication, so that the population has ever more access to services and to the circular economy and entrepreneurship chain that the program impacts. We hope that this investigation and its consequences can have a real impact on GRS logistics in Belém do Pará.porDesign de serviçosDesign de comunicaçãoGestão de resíduosEconomia circularInvestigaçãoReciclagemBelém (Pará, Brasil)Programa Recicle MaisO contributo do design estratégico de serviços de comunicação na gestão de resíduos sólidos: Programa Recicle Maismaster thesis203265750
