This transformation requires an emphasis on controlling and securing their information, which is now mostly online. This type of security is called cybersecurity and employees are trained on its procedures and good practices to identify and prevent potentials security breaches. Games are one of the most important forms of entertainment with a significant impact in our lives since ancient times. They are often used as educational tools due to the great motivational ability that facilitates learning and increased ability to retain information. In this work, conducted by a partnership with EMVENCI in the context of FCUL’s Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, the relevance that games can have in education is addressed. Different ideas were presented for possible educational games as well as the choice, design, and evaluation of one of these ideas, a point and click game, which is being designed and developed to allow a new form of knowledge on the EMVENCI platform. The results of the users survey were incredibly positive. It was possible to verify that there is a direct relationship between the game and the educational process, and that the game choice was the right one. There were also improvements in people’s retention of cybersecurity knowledge. Since this project was just a prototype of a game tutorial, future work can take us further in producing a finished game, introducing more and better story and gameplay elements.engJogosCibersegurançaHackerPoint and ClickUnityTrabalhos de projeto de mestrado - 2023Cybersecurity Aware Game 2.0master thesis203492315
