Para tal, este trabalho será dividido em dois pontos distintos: em primeiro, centrarei a minha atenção nas principais instituições concelhias administrativas, jurídicas, económicas, militares e burocráticas que eram ocupadas por grupos sociais de relevância; em segundo, analisarei as principais instituições assistenciais locais – capelas e confrarias. Respeitando a génese institucional de cada uma delas, serão identificados os principais aspectos administrativos e agentes internos.Abstract: The aim of the present dissertation is the study of the medieval society of Torres Novas analysis of different institutional structures.
