Abstract(s)
This article provides an analysis of the legal and political values that could be observed under the different modalities of the so-called doctrine of pre-emption in the judicial adjudication of the conflicts of powers between the European Community and national legal orders. Further; it seeks the relationship between the doctrine of preemption and the principle of subsidiarity with the aim of identifying which one of the different modalities of application of that doctrine should be considered to have a better link with subsidiarity.
