O objetivo principal da minha tese de mestrado é fazer um estudo aprofundado sobre o
perfil dos alunos chineses na Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa (FLUL).
Pretendo caracterizar a origem dos alunos, ou seja, a faculdade de origem, se se encontram
na FLUL através de algum protocolo ou acordo entre a sua faculdade de origem e a FLUL,
ou através dos seus próprios recursos financeiros ou se obtiveram um outro tipo de bolsa
de estudo. Também pretendo traçar o perfil dos alunos segundo a idade, o género e
distinguir os alunos que são oriundos de uma faculdade chinesa e os que não provêm de
nenhuma faculdade chinesa, estando a frequentar o curso por motivos pessoais ou
profissionais e não académicos. A metodologia que se irá utilizar será a de estudo de uma
amostra, que será analisada sob o ponto de vista de quantitativo e qualitativo, através de
um conjunto de um inquérito a alunos que frequentaram os cursos ade língua portuguesa
na FLUL (2013 a 2016), de modo a tentar perceber o seu perfil, motivações e sua relação
com a frequência do curso. Com os dados desta pesquisa, pretende-se dar um contributo
para o conhecimento do ensino-aprendizagem de Português como Língua Estrangeira (PLE)
a falantes de língua materna chinesa.
The main objective of my master's thesis is to do an in-depth study on the profile of Chinese students at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon. I wish to characterize the origin of the pupils, that is to say, the faculty of origin, if they are in the FLUL through some protocol or agreement between their faculty of origin and FLUL, or through their own financial resources or if they obtained another type of scholarship. I also plan to profile the students according to age, gender and distinguish students who come from a Chinese college and those who do not come from any Chinese college, and are attending the course for personal or professional and non-academic reasons. The methodology that will be used will be the study of a sample, which will be analyzed from the point of view of quantitative and qualitative, through a set of a survey of students who attended the Portuguese language courses at FLUL (2013 to 2016), in order to understand their profile, motivations and its relation with the attendance of the courses. With the data gathered in this research, the aim is to improve the knowledge of the teaching and learning of Portuguese as Foreign Language (PFL) to Chinese native speakers.
