No Palácio Nacional da Pena há parte de um serviço de mesa e de sobremesa Vista Alegre com o monograma coroadodo Rei D. Fernando II, que se sabe ter sido inventariado em 1887, após a sua morte, e adquirido depois do seu segundo casamento em 1869 com a Condessa d’Edla, mas recentemente tem sido divulgado que os serviços foram oferecidos ou encomendados em 1852 ao monarca pela Vista Alegre. Efetivamente, temos vindo a encontrar documentação que cabalmente comprova que foram adquiridos em 1867 conjuntamente com outros, cotejada com bibliografia e peças existentes em instituições museológicas. Este estudo foi complementado com outras peças da mesma porcelana que pertenceram a ambos e é aqui dado a conhecer.
At the Pena National Palace there is part of a Vista Alegre table and dessert service bearing the crowned monogram of King Fernando II, known to have been inventoried in 1887 after the King’s death and acquired after his second marriage in 1869 to Countess of Edla, but recently it has been reported that the services were offered or ordered in 1852 by Vista Alegre to the monarch. In fact, we found several documents that fully proves that the services were acquired in 1867 along with others, collated with bibliography and pieces held by museums. This study was complemented with other pieces of the same porcelain that belonged to both and is made known here.
