Resumo(s)
This PhD thesis in Fine Arts, painting, consists of a transdisciplinary practical and theoretical project that seeks to question the meaning of representation of the transpersonal and numinous body in the context of contemporary art and culture, with a focus on the study of symbols and archetypes of the feminine spiritual universe. It comes from a moment of reflection on my praxis and the creative processes inherent to it, where myths and folk tales set the pace and feed the imagery for the realization of the artistic object as "dynamic" and transmedia matter. We see that this practice, which stems from the body (performative and psychic) and the verification of transpersonal psychology to analyze the theme of spirituality and the feminine, brings a new awareness (in the various dimensions - physical, psychic and spiritual) both on an individual and collective level, in which there is a paradigm shift in the male/female duality. In these artistic processes, art emerges as a service, which, acting in the field of performative practices of care and maintenance, generates an aesthetic of interconnectedness and social and ecological responsibility. I will seek to demonstrate how these aesthetic and conceptual devices can contribute to a deeper experience of the symbolic dimension of the representation of the body, and to the symbiosis between Art, Technology and Spirituality, in particular, how audiovisual resources (such as video, online digital videoconferencing platforms, etc.) contribute to female empowerment.
