Abstract(s)
In this article, we propose to explore the personal library of the sculptor and professor Lagoa Henriques (1923-2009), focusing on the year 1974. The bibliographic references presented are part of the legacy left by the artist to the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Lisbon, referring not only to the experiences of its former holder but also to a brief historical and cultural contextualization that transports us to the events of April 25, to sculptural works created by Lagoa Henriques (such as the monument to José Afonso), and to the Portuguese artistic panorama of that year, selecting and addressing some exhibition catalogues
