Este relatório faz parte integrante do Mestrado de Análises Clínicas da Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade de Lisboa e tem como objetivo reportar as atividades laboratoriais a que tive oportunidade de assistir ou realizar durante o período de estágio - Fevereiro a Setembro de 2022 - o qual se realizou no Laboratório de Análises Clínicas, Dr. Joaquim Chaves em Miraflores/Carnaxide, sob orientação da Especialista em Análises Clínicas, Drª Ana Catarina Ferreira Rombo.
O Estagio integrou as valências de Bioquímica Clínica, Alergologia, Hematologia, Imunologia, Genética Humana, Química Analítica, Radioimunoensaio e Microbiologia, nas quais foi possível assistir ao desenvolvimento das respetivas atividades de rotina e executar alguns dos seus procedimentos protocolares.
Para cada uma das áreas clínicas frequentadas procuraremos apresentar um enquadramento teórico e serão abordados os equipamentos, os protocolos e métodos, bem como os fundamentos para processamento dos respetivos parâmetros analíticos, assinalando os conhecimentos teórico-práticos adquiridos.
This report is an integral and conclusive part of the Master of Clinical Analysis of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Lisbon and aims to report the laboratory activities that I had the opportunity to attend or carry out during the internship period - February to September 2022 - which took place at the Clinical Analysis Laboratory, Dr. Joaquim Chaves in Miraflores/Carnaxide, under the guidance of the Clinical Analysis Specialist, Ana Catarina Ferreira Rombo. The Internship included the areas of Clinical Biochemistry, Allergology, Hematology, Immunology, Human Genetics, Analytical Chemistry, Radioimmunoassay and Microbiology, in which it was possible to watch the development of the respective routine activities and perform some of its protocol procedures. For each of the clinical areas attended, we will try to present a theoretical framework and will address the equipment, protocols and methods, as well as the fundamentals for processing the respective analytical parameters, highlighting the theoretical-practical knowledge acquired.
