The present text begins with questions raised by art as process from the 60âs and the 70âs of the XXth century with the aim of verifying a visual performativity that activates a time gerund in the work. Starting from Henri Bergsonâs concepts of duration, intuition, image and creation, articulated with the practice of artists such as Richard Tuttle, Bruce Nauman, Barry Le Va, Joan Jonas, Robert Morris, Karlheinz Stockhausen, John Cage and Max Neuhaus, among others, we will contextualize a critical thought that will sustain and structure our personal artistic project. Thus this study will try to answer the following question: Does the nature of process art reconfigure its experience in a time gerund?
