O presente relatório procura apresentar e problematizar uma nova proposta de
percepção de uma exposição de moda como uma performance. Concebida durante o
estágio curricular no ModeMuseum Pronvicie Antwerpen, em Antuérpia, Bélgica, a
proposta foi baseada na exposição ‘Rik Wouters & Het Huiselijk Utopia’, em curso
durante o tempo do estágio.
Juntamente com a descrição do estágio e a apresentação da instituição
museológica de acolhimento, o seguinte relatório aborda as matérias necessárias para
a exemplificação da proposta aqui a ser discutida.
Para uma performance se realizar numa exposição, devem estar reunidos
vários factores e coordenados entre si. Um desses factores é a emoção. Esta revela-se,
então, o alicerce unificador das matérias e por isso coordena os capítulos e influencia
os seus conteúdos: a instituição museológica, exposição e o museu da moda são
analisados por esta perspectiva.
This report seeks to present and reflect a new proposal to perceive a fashion exhibition as a performance. Envisioned during the curriculum internship at ModeMuseum Pronvicie Antwerpen in Antwerp, Belgium, the proposal was designed with the concepts developed in the exhibition 'Rik Wouters & Het Huiselijk Utopia', that ran during the internship. Together with the description of the internship and the presentation of the welcoming museological institution, the following report addresses the subjects required for the exemplification of the proposal to be discussed here. For a performance to take place in an exhibition, several factors must exist and coordinate with each other. Amongst those factors is emotion which then becomes the unifying foundation of the subjects and therefore coordinates the chapters and influences their contents: the museological institution, exhibition and the fashion museum are analysed by this perspective.
