Propus-me analisar neste texto de que modo o conhecimento científico produzido sobre o Calcolítico no Extremo Sul do país tem sido suporte de programas museológicos e adaptado à comunicação e criação de discursos e ambientes museográficos, ao conteúdo de publicações e merchandising e ao desenvolvimento de projetos educativos nos museus do Algarve com espólio relativo às sociedades camponesas e metalurgistas do 3.º milénio a.n.e.
I proposed myself to analyze in this text how the scientific knowledge produced about the Chalcolithic in the extreme south of Portugal has been used in the Algarve, in those museums with collections related to the peasant societies and metallurgists of the 3rd millennium BCE, to support museological programs and has therefore been adapted to museums communication and to the creation of museographic discourse and environments, publication contents and merchandising, as well as to educational projects.
