Oscar Muñoz, developed since the 80s a representative route of concern with the nature of the image, the memory and the individual and collective identity. Establishing a sophisticated relation between visuality and memory, Muñoz makes use of conceptual games where the concealment of the visible symbolizes the erasure of collective recollection, thus building an aesthetic of oblivion, paradoxically aiming to contribute to the maintenance of memory
