| dc.description.abstract | Les mutations politiques du début du siècle romantique sont, au Portugal, synonyme de l’avènement d’une nouvelle sensibilité dramatique. Les modèles français empruntés par les nombreuses troupes théâtrales étrangères et les exilés politiques, assurent une effervescence toute nouvelle au sein des Lettres portugaises. De fait, le contact établi avec la culture littéraire et culturelle française par les estrangeirados et les artistes portugais, et la représentation de modèles français présentés dans les spectacles donnés sur le territoire national, ouvriront inexorablement un nouveau chapitre des relations franco-péninsulaires. Jusqu’à la fin du siècle, au théâtre, on parlera et on pensera en français, insensibles aux nouvelles tendances européennes sur le plan dramaturgique. | pt_PT |
| dc.description.abstract | The political upheavals at the beginning of the century of Romanticism are, in Portugal, synonymous with the emergence of a new dramatic sensibility. French theatre, imported by numerous foreign theatre troupes and political exiles, introduced a new vitality to Portuguese literature. The literary and cultural contacts initiated by the estrangeirados and Portuguese artists and the dissemination of French models on Portuguese soil open a new chapter in the Franco-Peninsular relations. Until the end of the century in fact, theatre is thought and expressed as French, to the point of ignoring other European developments in dramatic literature. | pt_PT |
