Resumo(s)
The paper presents a study about the work developed by Gabriel Villela, one of the most important directors of contemporary Brazilian theater, in ‘Romeo and Juliet’, with Galpão Group (Brazil – 1992 ), a reference between Shakespeare's Brazilian performances of all time. Through the analysis of the spectacle, criticism and interviews, are explored three aspects of the work: the text as understandable content and sound material, the participation of a dramaturg and lending outside the theater arts
