The text is concerned with the poetic operations of the artist Maria Lucia Cattani in the “Paralelas” (2006), “4 linhas” (2004), “4 patos” (2003) videos, to think about the constitutive modes of the image in movement as diagrammatic formulations in time. The constructive principles of the video-graphic form – repetitions and variations, juxtapositions and disconnections – decode, structure, and code other formal and space-time limits, to evoke resistances by the incongruences.
