The present paper reflects, through a conceptual, methodological and formal analysis, those works of the Sevillian artist-architect San¬tiago Cirugeda (1971) aimed to promote, with a socializing and participatory purpose, research, education and artistic intervention by forming alternative architectural spaces. With his proposals, opened to citizen participation and recycling of materials, exemplifies the progress towards a social ecology that manages to bring together, among others, to the Spanish geography collectives interested like him in self-managed places in which occur educational exchange and the promotion of political and social thought usual of pro-common culture
