O artigo que apresentamos tem por base a celebração do centenário da revista Atlântida, no ano que decorre, 2015, através da abordagem ao conto de Júlia Lopes de Almeida aí publicado, no número 3, em 1916, intitulado «O último capítulo». Considerada a pertinência do papel da Editora Mulheres e a da sua fundadora, Zahidé Muzart (cuja morte ensombrou, neste mesmo ano, o panorama dos Estudos de Género, particularmente no Brasil e em Portugal), para o conhecimento da obra da escritora Júlia Lopes de Almeida, procuraremos articular diversos aspectos no sentido de ilustrar a obra de tão relevantes autoras atendendo ao panorama da escrita de autoria feminina.
Having in mind the centenary of revista Atlântida (2015), this essay will recall the novel published in the above mentioned magazine by Júlia Lopes de Almeida entitled «The last chapter». Zahidé Lupinacci Muzart, founder and director of a leading Brazilian publishing house on Women Studies: Mulheres was expert as well in Júlia Lopes’s works. Mulheres edited many of Júlia Lopes de Almeida romances which were out of print, with the collaboration of well know specialists of Gender Studies bringing light to text and context. Zahidé Muzart passed away recently and “The last chapter” is reprinted in Historiae as a homage, in memoriam of her life and work.
