O romance de Cervantes ganhou, na linguagem da companhia, uma transposição cénica que valorizou o cómico e o jogo dos actores. Com este espectáculo a companhia deu continuidade à sua pesquisa em torno do teatro gestual. Esta dissertação pretende avaliar a importância da palavra falada em cena e o espaço ocupado por ela na linha de adaptação utilizada. Investigará também o peso que as características literárias da obra de Cervantes exerceram na elaboração do espectáculo e em que etapa e de que forma foram integradas no processo. Cervantes’ novel won, in the language of the company, a scenic transposition that valued the comic and the game of the actors. With this show the company has continued its search around the theatre sign. This thesis aims to assess the importance of the spoken word on the scene and the space occupied by it in the line of the adjustment used. In addition, the thesis will focus on the weight that the characteristics of the literary works of Cervantes exercised in the preparation of the show and in what stage and how they were integrated into the process.
