<dcterms:accessRights>open access</dcterms:accessRights><dc:type>info:eu-repo/semantics/masterThesis</dc:type><dc:format>application/pdf</dc:format><dcterms:abstract>The evolution of the Internet introduced new challenges in the field of large-scale distributed applications, where typical point-to-point solutions became unfeasible due to their inability to scale with the number of users, and also due to the rigid operation that this sort of protocol enforces. In this context, the publish/subscribe paradigm presents itself as a viable solution to the current problems of distributed applications, ensuring a decoupling between the various participants in the system and allowing an editor to create information that will be routed by the system towards the subscribers which expressed interest in that particular information. This work addresses the problem of implementing the publish-subscribe paradigm in the scope of MANet networks. These networks are characterized by operating with mobile nodes, being subject to unexpected topological reconfigurations, thus introducing an added complexity to the problem.</dcterms:abstract><dc:subject>Trabalhos de projecto de mestrado</dc:subject><dcterms:advisor>Domingos, Dulce</dcterms:advisor><dcterms:advisor>Rodrigues, Luís Eduardo Teixeira</dcterms:advisor></record></value></md><md shared="false"><mid>18119</mid>

<type>text_md</type><value>
